Agriculture – farming, forestry, fisheries and livestock- is the main source of employment and income in rural areas, where most of the agrarian people live. Agricultural cooperatives play an important role in supporting small agricultural producers and marginalized groups such as young men and women.
We empower our members economically, socially and create sustainable rural employment for their final independency through business models that are resilient to economic and environmental shocks. We offer small agricultural producers opportunities along with a wide range of services, including improved access to market, natural resources, information, communications, technologies, credit, training and warehousing facilities including cold storage and allied agriculture appliances, equipments
We are in accordance with Govt. for implementing green energy on the last line of social structure. through E vehicles, Solar Systems, and all renewable energy where agro-inputs are crucial feedstock. We also facilitate smallholder’s producer’s participation in decision-making at all levels, support them in securing land rights and negotiating better terms of engagement in contract farming, and lower prices for agricultural inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, and equipment. Through this support, smallholder producers can secure their livelihoods and play a greater role in financial independence. The growing demands for food in local and international markets, thus contribute to poverty eradication, providing security and minimizing scarcity of produce.
a. WE support our member farmers from pre-harvesting to post-harvesting for Processing, storage, and marketing of Agricultural, Horticulture, Livestock, Poultries & Fisheries produce
b. Society’s interest is to protect the interest of Farmers for the storage, distribution, and marketing of Agricultural, Horticulture, Livestock, Poultries & Fisheries products.
c. To empower our members in enhancing their sustaining power for realizing the best price of their produce.
d. Our intervention with technology and dissemination of market demand getting available to the last line of the farming community will empower them in making wise decisions for their commercial decisions.
e. To do all the incidental and ancillary works which may be necessary for the accomplishment of the aforesaid objects.
ISAMPS is originally organized at the gross roots level in a village or a group of small villages. It is the basic unit which deals with rural credit to farmers for meeting their functional requirements. It provides short-term and medium-term loan to farmers which helps to meet their short-term financial requirements. We supply agricultural inputs and provides marketing facility for the agricultural products.
1. Objective and Function:
a) Objective
The principal objective of the society is to promote the interests of all its member to attain their social and economic betterment through self-help and mutual aid in accordance with the cooperative principles.
b) Functions;
f. The main functions of the ISAMPS are production, processing, storage and marketing of Agricultural, Horticulture, Livestock, Poultries & Fisheries produce produce of its member and for the aforesaid purpose the ISAMPS Society may undertake any or
all of the following activities: -
1. Processing storage and marketing of agricultural and horticultural produce of its member;
2. Production of bio and organic fertilizers and its distribution and marketing;
3. Production distribution and marketing of Certified and Hybrid Seeds;
4. Production and marketing of agricultural Inputs and Appliances;
5. Sale and Purchase of agricultural and horticultural produce, including its Import and Export;
6. Construction of its own Warehouses and Cold Storages or hiring of Warehouses and
Cold Storages for the storage of Agricultural, Horticulture, Livestock, Poultries
& Fisheries produce produce of members;
7. Development of poultry farming Dairy farming, Pisciculture, sericulture, animal
husbandry and other allied works for the benefit of its members;
8. To develop amongst its members the interest it organic farming and to impart
training to its members and provide them the latest technical know-how for better
farming on modern lines;
g. To act as Agent of the State and Central Government and other Cooperative
Societies for storage, distribution and marketing of
Agricultural,Horticulture,Livestock,Poultries & Fisheries produce
9. To do all other incidental and ancillary works which may be necessary for the
accomplishment of the aforesaid Objects;
10.ISAMPS facilitates small holders access to: Natural resources such as land and
water. Information, communication and knowledge.
11. Markets, food and productive assets such as seeds and tools.
12. Policy and decision making.
We believe in conserving Biodiversity and function within the traditional cultural vicinity of the specific geographical and demographic uniqueness. The blending of modern technological intervention in subsistence Integrated Farming is the most productive practice to adhere to for a holistic environmentally sustainable agro practicing. Our Cooperative has specific programs for sustainable, interdependent and self-sustaining model for the same.
